The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 373 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 48,116. 10 new deaths were recorded along with 366 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 373 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (69), Osun (41), Kaduna (40), Oyo (40), FCT (35), Plateau (22), Rivers (19), Kano (17), Ondo (17), Ogun (15), Abia (14), Gombe (12), Imo (9), Enugu (7), Kwara (6), Delta (5), Niger (2), Borno (1), Bauchi (1) and Nasarawa (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 373 cases were from 20 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 69. Osun State followed with 41 cases while Kaduna State and Oyo State both had 40 Cases. 366 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 34,309 from 33,943. 10 new deaths were recorded.
