I don't advise proficiency schools in nigeria, I mean NIIT and its likes. The reason is that you waste time there-what is learnt under two weeks in india or america, you do for three to six months. If you want to go for them, try outside nigeria

china china china!! and one year's tuition is just under 5000 dollars, that is including agency fees, after that u just pay 4000 dollars, and chill, im not tryin to scam you, just suggesting. every nigherian who wants to study have to pay agency fee, just incase u thinkin of insultin me, h, the downside is you might not get the course you want, but if it's engineering you wnat to study regardless of what exact major, you'll still get an engineering course

There are good options abroad if you can afford, a lot of asian countries have really uped the ante' in software development with incubation programs and technology parks to boost your efforts along with your degree, i am studying software engineering with university of east london program at a Malaysian university and the standard is good. NIIT and Aptech are also very good alternatives as they offer quality and are recognized worldwide. Above all it takes practice,hard work and dedication to become a good software engineer which explains why self study is also important.

You will learn only if you want to learn by discipline yourself first, regardless of the school.
I will advice APTECH VI, i have being there and they teach well, but you need the cash.
