What Is Development? by OruExpress(op): 9:37pm On Sep 28, 2020
We should stop saying we want development because it's a lazy and meaningless word. What country is developed and if they are developed why haven't the stopped developing themselves?

When we say development we create a pie in the sky that has no real meaning. It says nothing about solving problems and worst it puts the responsibility of making a society work on the government.

What problem do you want to solve or feel should be solved? If 10% of Nigerians asked themselves that and started trying to solve it, we will have a different country all together.

If we say 'development' we say nothing.

I told my son, “You will marry the girl I choose.” He said, “NO!” I told him, “She is Bill Gates’ daughter.” He said, “OK.” I called Bill Gates and said, “I want your daughter to marry my son.” Bill Gates said, “NO.” I told Bill Gates, My son is the CEO of World Bank.” Bill Gates said, “OK.” I called the President of World Bank and asked him to make my son the CEO. He said, “NO.” I told him, “My son is Bill Gates’ son-in-law.” He said, “OK.” This is exactly how politics works! that is political development
