The civil services is where most of the corruption in Nigeria takes place.

Some of the protesters parents work in the civil services and many of them are corrupt.

If you want good governance, start your cleaning from the civil services

It's not enough to protest ,and it's not enough to list the deficiencies, the solutions must also be outlined. It turns out most Nigerians are clueless about real development . The intricacies involved in the process needs to be addressed first . It's like the foundation of the structure. The foundation is what should be of concern because with that ,everything else would fall in place.
Nigeria with it's 200 million population and mono oil revenue is not one of the richest countries in the world . Even though Nigeria is not expected to have the tallest skyscrapers , it still has enough money to build a decent society, but unfortunately Nigeria is prone to wastage . Another inadequacy is the fact that Nigeria loses billions each year due to unneeded, stagnant and inefficient agencies .

Below is a list of Nigeria's Civil Service agencies. Half of them need to be scrapped and replaced with responsive agencies that serve everyday life. The government's priorities from the list below is why Nigeria is sh*th***

Why wont it be stagnant when those there keep reducing their age.. They don't want to retire
. When you expect then to work that s when they will start telling you how long they have been working.. Most of them will actually expect you to bribe them for them

Nigeria's tax system is inefficient and most Nigerians do not pay tax. The tax system is mostly manual and the few Nigerians who pay taxes do so manually from road side tax collectors and that's detrimental.
Digitize the tax collection. Compulsory ID database is needed for efficient taxation.
Nigeria loses about $30 billion dollars in tax and fine evasions each year .

scrap one or two of those agencies above and invest more in efficient taxation.

THE TRAGEDY AND IRONY IS THAT MOST OF OUR POLITICIANS WILL STEAL THIS TAX MONEY AND SQUANDER IT AT THE END OF THE DAY.
THERE IS A LACK OF TRUST BETWEEN THE PEOPLE AND THEIR GOVERNMENT

I read an online news a few days ago where the governor of Cross River said he employed 6000 appointees despite not needing them , and he pays them 40,000 naira per month for doing nothing just to keep money circulated. So my question is , why not employ and put to use the Civil engineers ,architects ,surveyors, builders ,Electricians and welders who are currently living in Calabar to fix , build and maintain the roads at Calabar and Cross river ? Why pay able bodied individuals for doing nothing?
Create a Calabar or Cross river Construction Commission and build the roads and other infrastructures ,instead of paying China or the Julius Berger millions of dollars in inflated cost .
wisdom; innovation and critical thinking is far from many Africans.

The funny thing is that if u visit any of these offices in Abuja, their staff only gossip and eat groundnut. They don't do anything there

Someone should go to the ministries and take photo or videos of the staff sleeping or idling and expose it as evidence that the civil service is inefficient and needs to be scrapped or reformed . perhaps another protest. .

you can be that someone
