Please gurus in the house,how does one convert a TEXT fetch from mysql database to a STRING? |

what kind of fetch are you using? mysql_fetch_row, mysql_fetch_array, mysql_fetch_object etc. |

I think you've twisted the whole idea, in programming Text is string, just that string is a type (data type) while text is the data. when working with mysql database, i normally use mysql_fetch_array so that i can treat the data as both normal and associative array, you can also use mysql_fetch-assoc if you intend to treat your data as associative array. |

If it is a string, you don't need to convert. Just google your question and you will get result. This is not a problem. |
