Good day Samsung lovers. I've been using low end androids (Infinix, Tecno) and I want to go back to flagship Samsung as my last encounter with a Sammy was days of S8. I'm particularly curious and have read online reviews on the S21 Ultra but I'm scared of screen issues. I don't want to go iOS way and I haven't received much positives on Google pixels. Pls would you advise I take the leap? How do I avoid getting caught in screen wahala? Between the s21 ultra and the s24 FE, which would you suggest with less likelihood of screen going bad?

Note: I'm a moderately heavy user as I get not less than 10hrs screen time daily, but strictly social media apps and chrome. Might edit a document or two once in a while also. My budget is 400k.

Get yourself a54 or a55
They are high end A series with almost same specifications with S series apart from the screen

Thank you so much for your response. Can I get a brand new of those ones with my budget or it's still UK used? Do I get same flagship experience with them? Do they pose less screen wahala when compared the the s series? How about camera quality? And How easy would it be for me to trade them in if I want to upgrade ? Thanks

You can get a54 for around your budget, yes they pose less screen wahala but you won't be getting the flagship experience
I have used both A series and S series, I can't differentiate the flagship experience though
I also run away from S series because of green lines screen

For your budget, forget the s24. experience level isn't comparable camera wise, video and for a few things graphics between the S and A series since it's just for average usage.
For the S20 and note series upwards, you'd need to develop thick skin against HBP and be ready for eventuality as the cost of changing their genuine OEM screens will almost buy you a new phone if not two of other mid-range.

I just changed my S21 screen for a used one though 50% cheaper than new but still expensive cos of the graphics, camera and video I always use at uhd 4k 60fps instead of getting another lower device.
