Who are the people you call friends? What have they been contributing to your life? Before we assess your friends, let us talk about you. What do you even want from a friend?

Are you looking for a friend that will approve all your moves? Good or bad?

Are you busy seeking for set of friends that you are better than in all ramifications?

Do you choose your friends or they choose you?

Fake friends are everywhere and they can be deceiving. The last thing you want is to be a victim. They have the capacity to bring emotional, financial and psychological damage on you if you cannot identify them. There are some few ways to identify fake friends.

Who are they?
They should be the type that are open minded and progressive in thoughts and counsels.

At least larger percentage of your friends should be better than you with experience in your field or dream in life. If those people are not around your environment, search for them beyond your environment. Build a useful network.

Choose your friends. When you choose, you stand a chance of getting your taste. When they choose you, they stand a chance of getting their taste.

Be available for people to choose you also, because you have a duty to be a blessing to others based on your experience. That is why it was suggested that larger percentage of your friends should be better than you. As you are growing through the larger percentage, you are helping others too.

Don’t forget, before you can help others, you must be capable first. Only a standing man can raise the falling ones.
