*IPOB accuse army of arresting innocent people, tagging them ESN operatives to execute them.

Both the Nigerian Army, and the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, have dismissed as fake, report in some sections of the media that the military attacked the camp of Eastern Security Network, ESN in Aba, killing no fewer than 16 personnel of the security outfit.

Assistant Director Army Public Relations, 14 Brigade Ohafia, Captain Iliya Dauda, told our Correspondent in Aba that there was no military operation against any ESN camp in Abia.

He rather explained that unknown gunmen attacked an Army checkpoint at Osisioma junction Aba but were repelled.

He said there were no casualties on the part of the Army but begged for more time to receive report from their men at the scene investigating and assessing the incident.

Loolol, this is for those cheering that ESN was killed, by the army. I spoke with a relation in Abia and he told me that no such thing happened. In fact, he told me it was the army that sustained casualties, however, you're free to beleive that the army killed all ESN operatives, if that will make you sleep well tonight.

What we must all know is that the morale of ESN and UGM are very high and not subject to caprices of social media. Only this afternoon 4-four policemen were killed in Ikot Ekpene and their weapons carted away. Beleive it or not, in the next few days and weeks, nigeria govt will come begging for a truce.

Just hang in there!!

It fake in the sense that it wasn't ESN members that were killed rather it's young men that they accused of being ESN members and arrested. This is lowest of the low for Nigerian Army.

Why didn't they face ESN directly instead of extrajudicially killing people?

No the pics are photoshopped image. If army killed ESN everyone will know. It's not even something that can be hidden.

Much clearer.

So the ESN unknown gunmen were killed not at their camp, but when they tried to attack the soldiers at their checkpoint in their usual style.

Good riddance to IPOB terrorists cool

even at that it's still a shame that the national army will go around killing civilians in the night in a state that doesn't have terrorism nor state of emergency, nothing justifies this killing cos at the end of the day, it's someone's uncle, brother, father and son that was killed and do not expect their families to keep quiet, they would surely seek revenge maybe by becoming "unknown gunmen" cos the judiciary is filled with corruption and the circle continues

If there are no actions against ESN, why are they not legalised to help end herdsmen wahala in their land
Abi? No action against them means ESN actions are justifiable.
