This is not the first time a Northerner will be appointed into political office in Lagos but you will never hear these people abusing the privilege by saying they own Lagos or Lagos is no man's land as the Igbos do.

It will be very difficult to know whether the Igbos are more than the Hausa/Fulani people or which one of them invest most in the state. Although, foreigners have the largest investment in Lagos. The largest refinery in Africa is established in Lagos by a Northerner yet those Igbos will spew rubbish that they are the ones financing the state.

Lagos allow non indigene and non Yorubas in the state public service due to their economic contributions nothing else. Rivers state has almost the same potential has Lagos with millions of non indigene contributing to economic development of the state but never allow them in the political affairs of Rivers state.

Igbos should learn from the Hausa /Fulani people how to be cultured and not abusing privileges.

Just for election, they are already selling the Yorubas out for aboki.

That is why Tinubu should not become the president. He can do anything just for power and money.

Is this news ?. He grew up in Agege. I'm sure that man speaks Yoruba fluently and have lived comfortably in Yoruba land. Making him a commissioner isn't a bad idea. But what's bad is you guys trying to make it seem like you're doing that to get Hausa's votes. It will look suspicious. And when you start suspecting somebody's good in politics. It doesn't end well

He has been holding political office in Lagos state since 2001 when Tinubu first appointed him as LASPEMA. Subsequent governors have appointed him into various offices based on his excellent service before Sanwo-Olu appointed him as a commissioner.

So, what is wrong in rewarding excellence? What is wrong in appointing capable hands to public office irrespective of their ethnicity?

Tinubu has shown that apart from his ability to spot talents needed for public service, he also has the ability to look beyond petty ethnic and religious consideration in making decisions. That’s a very strong quality that a president must possess. A nationalist who is willing to give everyone an equal opportunity irrespective of their background, religion and ethnicity.
