If you're an Apple user, I'd recommend you apply each method as soon as you read it.

No preamble, let's get straight to business


*Method 1*
Step 1:Launch settings
Step 2: Click Appstore
Step 3: turn off automatic downloads on mobile data
Step 4: Turn off video autoplay

*Method 2*
Step 1: Launch Settings
Step 2: Click on general
Step 3: Look for background refresh
Step 4: Turn off apps you don't want to get notifications from. It simply means, whenever the apps "turned off" are running in the background, they won't consume data.

*PS:* Don't turn off all as it will greatly reduce your experience.

*Method 3*
Step 1: Launch Settings
Step 2: Check for apps using your mobile data
Step 3: Turn off unwanted ones and they'll never be able to use your data, background or foreground.
Step 4: Scroll to the buttom and Turn off wifi assist - Wifi assist simply means your device will consume mobile data when WiFi connection is poor.

*Method 4*
Step 1: Launch settings
Step 2: Click on apple ID
Step 3: Click icloud
Step 4: Go into photos and turn everything there off - prevents every new photo and video from uploading to icloud.
Step 5: Go back and turn off any other thing that you don't want to be uploaded to your icloud.

*Method 5*
Step 1: Launch Settings
Step 2:Scroll down to music and Open it.
Step 3: Go to mobile data and turn off high quality streaming - it's better to download songs than stream them anytime you want to listen.

*Method 6*
Step 1: Launch settings
Step 2: Scroll to iMessage and turn on low quality image mode. - Faster image sending, but lower quality and lower data consumption.
