My language is Annang which is a variant of ibibio language. The following words are the same with the same meaning: 1. CAN: English: I CAN do it. Annang/Ibibio: Mkpa CAN nnam, which means "I CAN do it" in English. So CAN has the same pronunciation and meaning in English and Annang/Ibibio. 2. DUG: English: I DUG a pit.
