you can now code in your browser using vscode editor without installing it on your local machine. this is quite impressive. as a python dev i have been testing it out and it has good support for python and some other languages. just go to https://vscode.dev/ and try it out. you can also learn more about the project by visiting https://code.visualstudio.com/blogs/2021/10/20/vscode-dev.

I tried to apply for the insider version but was not approved.

Since it is now released, I have no interest in trying it out except I really have to code on my Xbox X which now supports Chromium based Edge.
Mind you: the thing just used almost 1.6Gb or Ram and is slowing down my browser.
