As the father of this guy who erroneously believe he had an innocent son how would you address your son after the incident?

A senior cartel members cannot hide his identity to that extent. The father knows who he is.


But let me answer your question directly, so it's obvious that the bad child eventually became the hero at that moment. I will simply have a heart to heart talk with my son and make him understand that there is more to life than what he has chosen. The same way those people could get scared and spare the family so also others can become bold to attack the family and kill everybody. A bad thing is a bag thing, even leviathan was created for a specific day but that doesn't make it a good creature.
