I thought I was dreaming when I visited ShopRite and I paid with 2 mint N1,000 notes and suddenly one boy appeared and he was a staff of ShopRite too. I just paid to the teller, he came with this card and suddenly gave the card to the teller, the teller slotted the card on POS, she didn't punch in any number. The guy didn't punch in anything, I was just expecting my ticket and she hasn't emptied my money into the till.

Suddenly this lady teller pulled out the card the boy handed him few seconds ago and hid one of my mint N1,000 notes behind it and gave the card and N1,000 back to the guy.

This guy briskly walked away and I checked to see her hands dropping my money into the till and she dropped only N1,000 and the other denominations.

Then my ticket was printed.

The guy plaited hair like woman.

At first I asked myself, how will a man wearing a lady's hair be working in ShopRite ??

Nothing was my business, I walked away with my goods fully paid for.

Most humans have looting gene in their DNA. It is not about status.

So if you think rich people are wicked? Try poor people.
Imagine dividing both the cost price and profit into two, pocket half and hand over half to the establishment that employed her, then expect to be paid from the remaining half which the profit and half of the cost price has been removed by her.

You still pity poor people? Give them a chance.
If you are an employer.. Don't take chances with anybody no matter how innocent they may look

Those cashiers are something else.. they play fast moves on their employers and shoppers alike especially when they see it's a guy that brought babe for shopping.Your bill migbt be say 18k, they'll tell you 19k knowing you won't check the receipt.

@OP I feel you should have at least said something or even scold the cashier.. It's what I'd do if I see such.
