Step 3 (the hardest part): stylishly borrow her phone to make a call or something and go to her WhatsApp, click on settings, then click on “linked devices” then click on “link a device” (you actually need her phone password or fingerprint to do that).
Step 4: A camera scan will come up, scan the barcode from your https://web.WhatsApp.com

I just tied it now with my phone it worked.
This is what you will do

After you open the Web dot WhatsApp dot com.

Click on the top right bar( That place you see HISTORY, DOWNLOADS ETC)
After HOSTORY,,,you will see DESKTOP SITE. Select it

The page will reload and the bar code will show up.
