Job Title: Primary School STEM Instructors (with a focus on Coding and Robotics)

Application Deadline: January 30, 2022 or until all positions are filled.

Starting Date: January 2022.

Summary: We are looking for passionate coding and robotics instructors to teach primary school pupils. The instructors are expected to provide pupils with appropriate instruction in Coding to enable the pupils to develop competencies, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Instructors will take on a number of basic responsibilities:

• Teach pupils of all ages (Year 1 - 6).
• Lead weekly classes on a number of different programming subjects.
• Work with students to create their own coding projects and presentations.
• Run trial classes to inspire future programmers.
• As your experience grows, there is room to take on more responsibility, from independent projects to curriculum development.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience required.
• Computer/Engineering/STEM/Education related degree or certificate.
• Advanced knowledge in STEM and competency in ANY of the following programming languages and tools, including Python, Minecraft MakeCode, Scratch, App Inventor, Unity, Roblox.
• Enjoy working with kids of all ages.
• Exercise patience and humility.
• A passion for learning and education.
• Ability to instruct pupils and manage their behaviour.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Reports To: Head of School

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Scale: Competitive salary scale.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
