DOES THE SUN KNOW
Does the sun know that men staked their happiness and pleasure
So that the odd will be in their favour.
As the embark on the journey of turning their dreams into reality
Before the sun journey for another 365 times from East to west.

Does the sun know that from the day a man was born
The world has counted for him the many times he has watched the sun switch duty with the moon
And has grouped it into days, weeks, months and years.
And a year comes where a man will be mocked if his dreams still remains just a dream.

Does the sun know that as it dies a painless death
Forcing the sky into a mourning attire,
Troubled man buries his tired body in his bed
And watch helplessly as his worries walk shoulder high in his thought.

If only the sun knew, maybe it would have tarried a bit longer
Till will turn the ghost of ours dreams into a body reality.
