I understand but it might not be convenient for the 4 of you, if you can get a room and parlor self con place in another decent( maybe not as serene as the first place) area not far from your jobs, that should be okay.

You have a 9 year old, all of you in one room is not too okay if one has the means. At least the boy can sleep in the parlor.
