As a computer operator, you will be responsible for handling the operation and maintenance of our computer systems, collaborating with the IT team, printing, photocopy, online registration, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining equipment inventories.

Responsibilities
(i) Identifying and correcting file and system errors
(ii) Performing backup procedures to reduce the risk of data loss
(iii) Maintaining computer equipment and inventory and organizing repairs as needed
(iv) Collaborating with Programmers and Systems Analysts to coordinate testing environments and resolve system problems
(v) Maintaining and managing processing logs and running procedures manuals
(vi) Answering questions and troubleshooting problems for users
(vii) Performing data processing operations according to a business production schedule


Requirements & Skills
(i) Good customer relationship
(ii) Familiar with computer software and hardware
(iii) Good communication (English, Hausa is an added advantage )
(iv) Must be punctual and polite
(v) Reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skill
