i bought tecno pop 5 pro for dad. He is over 80 years. He does not watch youtube. Apart from audio WhatsApp calls, there is nothing else that he does on the phone. His data consumption has been crazy. I linked his line to mine so i see data "used". His average monthly usage is well over 6GB. That is crazy.

How can i reduce the data consumption on Tecno pop 5 pro? I learnt the phone does not have data saver. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? Help out, please. Thank you!

It's unlikely that popsi of that age cud use that much data. Is there any grandkid with 'em at home? That might be the issue, cause I experienced the same thing when I linked my data with my mum's phone, and I finally found out most data was used up by my nephew.

Another thing is if popsi himself likes watching movies, ehn ehn, that might be a thing.

Lolz you're correct, they always suck the data like mad.

Tell him to stop watching porn

Maybe an app is constantly using the data connection or playstore automatically updates apps once data is switched on.
It could also be the Hios launcher draining the data.
