These days while listening to radio and television, I often hear statements like "he promised to address the insecurity problems..."
But I think it should be "he promised to address the security problems..."
After all we don't talk of "unhealthy, antimarital, antisocial" etc problems; but health problem, marital problem, social problem etc.
Language experts should kindly help out a bloody engineer.

You either say "insecurity" or "security problem". It's illogical or tautological to say "insecurity problem" since the term "insecurity" itself is considered a problem.
