Let the original length be L and the original width be W
L * W=8000
(L-10)*(W+10)= 8100
LW+10L-10W-100= 8100
Remember LW=8000
10L-10W= 8100+100-8000
10L-10W=200
L-W=20
L=20+W
Put L=20+W into equation one
(20+W)W= 8000
W^2+ 20W-8000=0
Using any method to solve the above quadratic equation
W= -100 or 80
Since width cannot be negative, then W= 80m
L= 20+80= 100m
The original length is 100m while the original width is 80m

2. Sum of interior angle in a pentagon = 540°
The interior angles from the figure are 90°, 90°, 20°, 110
The last one is 230°
230° + angle R = 360°
Angle R= 130°
