please nairalanders can i have suggestion to this question 'tell me about your background'

I feel what u need to reply is start with your full name, talk about your family, no of children, ur position in d family, where u were born, primary school attended, secondary school, tertiary institution, any other certificates obtained (and maybe why u took such courses) but all this must be with dates and they must correspond with what u have on your CV.

if u still av to keep talking u could mention ur parents occupation, and anyother thing about you.

I don't think you really need to talk about your family, what is required is to talk about your personality, your strong points and weak points, what you've been able to achieve, academically, career and things like that. Nobody is interested in your family before giving you a job. They want to know what you can deliver and how you can go about it.
