A 7-year-old boy suffered an injured finger after an AI robot went rogue during a chess tournament in Russia. The incident occurred during the Moscow Open, where a child named Christopher was playing against a robotic arm. When reacting to one of the robot's moves, Christopher moved too quickly for it to register, leading to it gripping his hand with its claws instead of a chess piece. The vice president of the Chess Federation of Russia, Sergey Smagin, said: "The boy is all right. They put a plaster cast on the finger to heal faster.
