RETAIL ASSOCIATE

Job Brief
The retail associate shall contribute to driving sales through providing a genuine and unique experience to each customer. This is a customer-facing employee whose behavior could influence customer decisions on whether to maintain a relationship with us. The associate position is sensitive as their output drives the activity of other departments within the organization. The retail associate shall operate all sales and customer service functions as required by Garmspot. You shall be interfacing with clients and customers whose satisfaction must be ensured at all times.

Initiates genuine conversation to engage with the customer in a personalized way where all customers feel welcome, heard and valued.
Support a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions.
Advise customers about benefits, promotions, sales and other opportunities.
Provide insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicate feedback to store leadership.
Provide a friction less customer experience by utilizing technology to transact in the moment, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items not available in store.
Respond to customers’ queries in a timely, effective and professional manner.
Maintain Gamespot's visual and operational standards while keeping focus on the customer.
Participate in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, current trends and personal styling priorities to inspire the customer.
Support the shipment process to gain awareness of product including what’s new and what’s restock; contributes to completion of omni order fulfillment processes while maintaining stock levels of the floor.
Understand their contribution to service and their impact to the store’s business, while ensuring all sales sheets are updated as required by COB daily.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.


Requirements
Proven Experience in a fast paced sales environment
Significant experience in servicing customer queries in both online and offline environment
High standard of written and spoken English
Proven work experience in retail or a similar industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively assist customers and clients while maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Contributes to a positive team morale by building productive relationships with peers; asks for support when needed and makes an effort to help others.
Emotional intelligence.
Competent in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously, working under pressure and delivering on tight deadlines.
