Embedded systems programming is doable. Just that it's expensive. I'm going back to programming those. I have got a robotic arm, a robotic vehicle chassis and a self assembled drone all.of which I had acquired in 2014 as a hobby project. Abandoned all of them when I had r see front and work a proper job. Now diving back into programming the robotic vehicle as data has become more affordable and I can watch YouTube vids to get started. One of my favorite YT channels, explainingcomputers released a video today about programming a robotic vehicle. Plan to start with that and evolve the project to develop an autonomous vehicle. We'll see how that goes
