Please Help With The Best Resources To Learn Java For A Beginner by Jskelly11(op):
Good day guys, I'd love to learn Java, the java MOOC by the University of Helsinki was highly recommended by people on Reddit but I can't seem to navigate around the MOOC website, I've downloaded some YouTube videos but I think the videos isn't enough and some are outdated. I've some books like Effective Java and Head First Java. Please guys help me with directions to get the best resources to learn Java, thank you.

@Jskelly11

FreeCodeCamp is free.
W3School is free.

Go to Instagram and follow some Java developer. They do share secrets and tips to become a successful developer.

This is my 1 cent.

NB: I'm also a Java developer, but not available for mentorship currently.

Read the head first, they are the best at writing easy to understand books with their illustrations. Effective Java is for intermediate to advanced Java programmers.

Hey!
I will teach you Java for free. I can also guide you to successfully install the TMC NetBeans needed to do the Helsinki MOOC course. Contact me if you are interested.

I'm currently enrolled in a java bootcamp. I'm not an expert yet, but I have learnt enough to teach an absolute beginner. I believe that teaching you will also help me get better at Java.
