But can we all agree that generally, Nigerians love suffering. A whole lot of Nigerians are seriously enjoying this no money wahala.

Because,

We have Momo PSB from MTN. A mobile payment system that works even with Nokia torch for people in rural areas.

We have Smartcash from Airtel , very similar to Momo. Momo has been working in Ghana since almost a decade. Ghanaians have been using it to drive their economy on micro, small and medium scale levels.

I just revisited that E-naira project and I discovered that even though the app didn't launch well, inviting a lot of criticism, that app has upgraded a lot in terms of functions.

You can now easily fund your E-naira wallet from your bank apps, ATMs or even by going to your bank.

There are a lot of solutions. Funding your E-wallet from your bank is free. Moving money and paying for bread and soap, is free.

Check the amount of cash you lose to POS withdrawals in a year and you will discover that if only Nigerians can open their eyes and adopt the easy life with technology, all these wahala will not exist.

Come to think of it, before the new notes palaver, CBN gave MTN and Airtel the license to create their own mobile payments solutions and push it out .

They did, Nigerians do eye like sey we no see am.

CBN launched their own E-payments, Nigerians shouted foul!

With a combination of E-naira and Momo, banks won't really be able to rob is that much in the name of card maintenance and alerts. Where will they see the money kwanu?

Omo! I know the government is really messing up a whole lot, but I sincerely wish that the next government in Nigeria will set up an institution that will go about educating people properly on the significance, pros and cons of certain government policies.

To avoid people refusing gold because it is unrefined.

Mhen! E be like we really need to go back and start forcing ourselves and merchants to use these tools. If dem talk sey dem no sabi, teach them.

If mama Obinna sey she no go progress by accepting Momo and E-naira, I no dey buy and that's her business.

My thoughts 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

Very correct.
Un my locality, the price of many commodities have fallen - some more than 50% because of lack of cash.

A lot of villagers don't have bank accounts, yet many of them aren't even willing to create one.

I say to them the world is moving, move along with it, or be left behind. You're about to lose your businesses.
