Yes, it's possible. It's called an "addon domain". Just make sure that your host provider allows you to host more than one domain per account.

There's no disadvantage to the cpanel when you host more than ome website per package. The cPanel propably treats it like one website because all the sites will be sharing the same resources.

will both share a particular script. Or i can set a file folder or path for each

A directory is automatically created for each site after you add a domain from the control panel.
