Many people dislike traveling by car. I know some elderly people who prefer to walk rather than take a motorcycle (okada). Someone told me about a wealthy person who hasn't traveled for Hajj out of fear of boarding a plane.

All of these fears stem from the possibility of accidents that can lead to death, but death can strike anywhere.

Allah says, "Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!" Or where do we feel safer than in our own homes? We feel relaxed when we are at home, but death can also strike there.

But the question is when, where, and how? Who knows? The answer lies with our Creator, and this timing cannot be changed. Let us prepare every second for the destroyer of desires.

May Allah grant us long lives in sound faith and may we end well.

May Allah take our soul whenever he please and may we all die as a true Muslim.
