JAMB Sets Cut-off Mark For 2023 At 140 by 9jabox(op): 11:21pm On Jun 24, 2023
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set 140 benchmarks and above as the cut-off mark for 2023 admissions into universities across the country.

The Registrar of the board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this during a presentation at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions and Awards on Saturday in Abuja.

Oloyede also said 100 has been set as cut-off mark for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, explained that the aforementioned points are the minimum any student must get before they can be admitted into any tertiary institution across the country.

Do you think this is a good development for our country’s education sector? Considering that year after year, the cut -off mark keeps going lower which can encourage our students to be lazier as they do not need to work hard to attain high scores like before.

140 is fair enough, they're gradually receiving sense.
