The entirety of God's laws can be summarized in one word: "Love." The Ten Commandments of God are a revelation of His will and the transcript of His character. The law of God is righteous because God is righteous. He is loving and just, and so are His laws. The law has never been the problem. However, the sin in us has always been the stain that makes us guilty of the law. This stain is the reason why God sent His Son to die for us, so He can separate sin from us and redeem us.
