Job Position: QAQC Structural Engineer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
• Conduct periodic quality assurance/quality control inspections on the on-site contractors and subcontractors and check compliance with the client's and the organization's quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify quality non-conformance issues, summarize findings in periodic quality audit reports, and recommend corrective action plans.
• Ensure that all QA/QC documents are filed in an organized manner.
• Support the team during the handover and defects liability period, as needed Implement corporate policies and procedures.
• Communicate QA/QC procedures and documentation to the contractors on site and ensure all relevant individuals are aware of the procedures that affect their work
• Review the contractor's QA/QC Plan and agree on any revisions with the contractor prior to the commencement of the works.
• Ensure responsibilities are fulfilled with a high quality and in a cost-effective manner.
• Implement the QA/QC policies on the construction site and ensure adherence.
• Support the Project Manager with managing client relations and expectations, as needed
• Support the Project Manager in responding to client clarifications on quality and technical issues, as needed Support the Project Manager with reviewing, assessing, and responding to all quality claims raised by the contractor regarding scope, schedule, and cost changes. Compilation of lifetime records on the projects (Procedures, inspection reports, test reports, etc.)

Requirements
• B.Engr. in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 5 - 10 years of cognate experience as a QAQC Structural Engineer
• Proven work experience in overseeing QAQC Structural activities on construction project sites
• Knowledge of Construction QAQC, QMS & Civil Engineering
• Good communication ability (both written & and verbal)
• Site supervision and interpersonal skills
