Job Title: Construction Manager

Our construction firm is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have vast experience in managing construction projects from inception to the finishing stage, including site preparation,civil works, painting, flooring, tiling, plastering, electrical and mechanical fitting, and fit-outs.

Responsibilities:
• Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring that all work is completed according to quality standards and within project timelines.
•Interpret and inplement drawings and specifications.
•Prepare material and labour schedule.
• Manage project budgets and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure all projects meet building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
• Assess and mitigate project risks
• Track and report progress to senior management and stakeholders
• Coordinate with other departments, such as design and engineering, to ensure successful completion of projects
• Maintain relationships with clients and manage expectations
• Ensure all works are carried out safely .

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Building, Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management, specifically in project with detailed finishes requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software

Salary: 150-200k
