I believe the ability to fix bugs not minding where the script came from proves how professional one is.

I'm not saying the organization is actually using a codecanyon script tho.

In my experience, working for script people never ends well. They buy scripts because they feel it's cheaper then they get developers to add features and modifications even fix bugs for very low budget because they feel they've bought the script their business needs for cheap so why pay well for modifications? However, such people lack the financial capabilities to run a successful business, hence before you know it they are out of business and having worked for them for cheap ends up being for nothing because at the end there is nothing to show for it.

When i joined this project i met some guys. They were the one who swrote the script from scratch.

...with client wahala. Some would even ask why you're charging more than how much it cost them to buy the script.

People who buy scripts, most times ain't the actual client one seeks to have. They come with very very more work, and nothing to show for it even when you go the extra mile to satisfy them

Except when you using the script just to get a taste of the waters. Performance wise sef, those scripts ain't worth it.
