Lagos was essentially farm and fishing settlements occupied by different people (predominantly the Yorubas and their close relations ) at different times and that is the story the world over for all civilisation.

I'd love to visit the Sungbo Eredo walls (earth works) located near Lagos State in Yorubaland in the near future. It reminds me of the great Bini wall as well.
