I will be glad if anyone can give a first hand cost for creating a WordPress blog that I will be able to add AdSense.

I don't want hearsay. I want the view of blog owners who have added AdSense to their WordPress blog.

You would need to buy a domain name — on namecheap, a .com costs around $6 for a year

You would need Web hosting — on namecheap, the least package that would be okay for you to run whatever site you want costs around $1 .98 per month if you pay for a year at once. So about $24 per year

Design your blog properly and make sure you have sufficient and quality content on there.

To qualify for Google AdSense on your blog, Familiarize yourself with Google AdSense program policies and ensure your blog complies with them. Then apply.

I don't understand the 'WordPress package' you mentioned, if you are self hosting WordPress, there is no package, you just purchase your hosting, install WordPress and start designing your website. There is nothing extra to pay for.

God bless you brother. I was able to find out that we have WordPress. org and WordPress. com. I was using the the .com before. But now I have gotten everything set and good to go.
