On Saturday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria soared into the quarterfinals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with a commanding 2-0 victory over their fierce rivals, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

While the entire team deserves significant credit for their collective effort, two players, in particular, emerged as standout performers, playing crucial roles in securing the victory.

1. Ademola lookman
