nice analysis.But flawed in some areas based on poor assessments.The currernt reaity by far isolates Israel in many fronts over Iran>she knows that.Alot of power players can not foot such at this time.giving Iran more time to build defences.if today Russia supplies Iran the S-300 anti air units then Israel knows she is greatly weakened in terms of air superiority.Some how Iran still got to acquire through the back door a couple of S-300.If also Israel refuses to listen to russia there is every possibilty russia lifts the sale delay and supplies Iran.Thereby detering such damaging air attack.
I also believe must countries would prefer not to get involved.Do you know that Israel had strong intelligence infrastructures in turkey mainly targeted at Iran.They are in bad terms with turkey that reduced there ability to gather signifcant intel like before.Reason for her shift to the long range drone capable of spying and attacking IRAN.That said, human Intel is most reliable.Which turkey thwarted with there diplomatic row.Israel would have to rely primarily on covert special operations,ariel attacks and submerged marine tactical attacks.increasing risk and hoping Iran never shoots down there planes.They would also require Iraq for fueling/route if they decide to fly planes to Iran.Israel is also yet to take delivey of the raptors for air combat which have helped.
Iran has the capability of attacking Israel too.A typical case was that of Hizbollah.The worst case is the use of chemical missiles which Israel is trainning towards reducing damage.She could target Israel repeatedly with long range missiles and keep both Isreal and other nations greatly affected economically.While Israel can only hope on sorties to reduce the launch likie in lebanon.In this case Israel would not be able to roll in and out because the neighbouring nations are not friendly.Israel is counting on hitting and taking out the nuclear sites while they take the hit from Iran afterwards.

I think that is lies except where maybe FG is saying that to reduce anxiety and cdalm nerves.I believe the attack on banks and security out fit is strategic/tactical.It enables BH arm and grants them funding.A change in there tactics tells you they want and escalation of the situation.It is also ridiculous to think its a northern scheme to fustrate GEJ.Ordinary Northerners are scared and just want to live.They are trying to avoid both BH and FG agents form victimising them.The traditional rulers are spoilt with bribes and have become ceremonial.Thay lack relevance and very few people would stake there lifes to carry out there orders.other wise they could have made it easy by out lawing the group and people would have fought them out of such domains.They have dare to kill folks from both faiths(Islam&xtianity).Inshort scholars in the Muslim fold have suffered the must casualties.They have attacked the arm agents,FGN,Abuja,UN,Shehu family members,founders relative,xtians,churches,IGP,Acting Goivernor,aspiring governor,legislators,northerners,southerners etc if this class have being affected would you want to get involved as an ordinary civilian?Also the populace have continued to fracture and cause division.Allowing the group flourish more and more.Today an Islamic scholar condemns them, others remain mute in fear or difference until the group sets an example of him for defying them.In other cases you find xtian folks attacking such views becuase of sentiments and joining issues that hardly make sense to the situation.What i expected would have being a collect denoucement by all groups and tribes as a nation.Support people that come out to speakregardless of there position in society.Giving the people the guts to speak out more and bringing more to go beyond mutual suspicion and sentiments.BUt anytime it happens all you see is resentment towards a group and religion further fueling passions and alienating unity of purpose.
Sometimes i just feel for GEJ.How he manages to keep this foolish nation moving despite irresponsible so called elders and religious leaders who ignite anxiett.

Of course Iran has the right to retaliate. But its the scale and consequence of their retaliation and the resultant effect on the world that borders me.Vladimir Putin seems very aggressive.He is very keen on protecting the interests of Russia's traditional allies - Syria & Iran - come what may.Russia may threaten and be ready to strike Israel directly should Israel strike Iran.I dont think they will just sit back and sell arms.They've been doing that already.Infact, Russia is directly involved in the Iranian Nuclear Program.Hence striking Iran is equivalent to striking Russia indirectly.Russian personnel will die in the process to start a catastrophic chain reaction.Also, they know the US is weaker than ever.It is Russia under Putin's guidance that has stopped the West from interfering in Syria like they did in Libya till tomorrow.Dmitri Medvedev is pro West though but he is just a puppet.
Israel is ready to dare Russia and damn the consequences.They did it in the 70's but on a very minimal scale.But this is 2011 and Putin is not smiling.

Israel and Russia are also friend. Besides Russian has a lot to lose by attacking Israel - because it means attacking US. Besides, they are also frustrated by the antics Iran, and would not like them to develop nuclear weapon. So they pay no attention, initially and then stay out of it for a limited time, then go through through UN for resolution. World economy is too fragile, even China will be hurt by such war if they get involved. US is their largest export market, and they hold US bonds in trillion!

Iran betrayed Libya, now I don't give a hoot about them.

If Israel attach Iran,then thats the end of Iran as we knows it.America and her allies will make sure that this war is fought only in Iran.China and Russia are cowards they wont fight along Iranians.They will voice their concerns but thats all they will do.
