She'd cook efo-riro with it and I would painstakingly remove them all and throw away before eating the vegetables.
One day, I mistakenly crunch one still left in the efo... Oh my gosh! it taste so yummy and delicious!
Since then, I can't seem to have enough of it.
it's a pity I don't know where to find it in Lagos market.

There is a lot of myths surrounding this delicacy.
Heard it happens every leap year. Actually, during sec school, we traced it exactly every leap year. I don't know if it continued as I dot know much about it till seeing it here.

Also, it was said that all leaves, grasses they eat is edible for man to eat.
Run away from those they don't eat,they are poisonous
It is highly medicinal and great source of protein, fat and oil, amino acid with some trace elements.
