The decision may be merely academic as I'm sure Nigeria will not comply with it but what it does show is that a massacre took place and the Nigerian govt have refused to accept responsibility for the death of its citizens.

For the government, this should be a lesson that the use of force should be the very last resort in situations like the protests. Breaking the protesters with soldiers with loaded guns is nonsensical and wrong
