My laptop screen refuses to display anything, when I touch the power button it only shows light by the side , but the screen refuses to power on, what may be the cause?And solution

Try and check the RAM. Open your laptop if u know how to, clean the ram and insert it back. Try and see jf that works

What are the specs? Does it use an AMD graphics card?

Could be from the screen. There's a possibility that the internal connection between the motherboard and the screen might be loose or damaged.

Or

It could be from your RAM. Sometimes, issues with RAM or other hardware components can cause display problems.

Just take it to computer village if you're in Lagos or any computer repairs center in your location and experts would get it up and running for a token of course.

RAM, GPU common causes.

You might want to take it to a standard repair shop for troubleshooting.

There are possibilities, but I'm suspecting GPU issues causes by dirt in the fan section that cools the GPU, might be some other tiny problem like that. Especially for an old laptop
