The purpose of propaganda, at least in its late stage form, is not to inform you, or deceive you or even manipulate you. Its purpose is to humiliate you. Its purpose is to be so outlandish, so ridiculous and so blatantly untrue and yet totally undeniable in order to reinforce the power of the state. The Soviets referred to this as "hypernormalisation". That is - the state of everyone saying things that are completely false and that they know to be false - but which they cannot deny. The price of groceries at the supermarket is up 50%+ and the average family is relying of food banks and churches to meet their weekly grocery needs; but the newspapers report that the years inflation rate is only at 2.5% and the economy is booming. Then everyone is forced to repeat this lie and thus they become complicit in it - It is a system of total social humiliation.

Modern propaganda - its primary goal isn't merely to deceive or manipulate, but rather to force the population into a state of mass complicity through the propagation of obvious falsehoods. This phenomenon, known as "hypernormalisation," a concept that was first explored by Alexei Yurchak in his study of late Soviet society, serves to solidify the power of the state by making every individual a participant in the lies, thus reinforcing their own sense of powerlessness.

This technique is particularly insidious because it erodes trust in all forms of communication and shared reality, leaving people feeling isolated and gaslighted. We see hypernormalization among Pro Biafran groups and the Obidient mob alike. This isn't surprising , because both are cut from the same cloth. The only consoling aspect is that these groups are nowhere controlling the narrative outside their closed cyclic groups. However, it's important to understand that while , both IPOB and Obidient propaganda are highly effective amongst their staunchest adherents, their attempt at hypernormalization onto the wider public is relentless in how they have turned the truth upon its own head.

For example, the staunchest Social Media personalities amongst the Obidient were once actively condemning the adminstration style and character of their now messiah , Peter Obi. Even when confronted with this, they will quickly block you from their SM circle. To them, this harsh reality of their past condemnation does not exist. As for the Pro Biafran groups, any mention of the atrocities committed by the Biafran military on hapless minority peoples trapped in the Biafran hellhole , is all post war propaganda initiated by the Gowon military regime. This is despite Gowon's magnanimous post war policy not to arrest and have tried in a military court all Biafran war criminals. When even confronted with historical and real life accounts of the slow genocide and all the depraved barbarity committed on minority people in both Biafra and the then Midwest, the Biafran apologists will simply wave it aside and even mock any minority person who brings it up.

To both the Obidient and their Siamese twin, IPOB , only them are right. Their messiah is infallible. They remain perpetual victims of injustice who deserve to be rewarded with the control of supreme powers over everyone else.

Key examples of recent hypernormalization are:

1. Covid vaccine and how at every turn the redefined everything you knew about vaccines, the common flu.

Remember how for 2ys between 2020 and 2022, there was no single record of the age long seasonal flu? The propaganda was that every case of that including that of a young man who died from a motor bike crash was recorded as a covid death. It got so bad that for 2ys of Covid hysteria, there was no flu during the winter months. This was meant to push the fear narrative of Covid being so fatal despite survival and recovery rates at 99% for all healthy adults. There was also the flagrant abuse of the PCR test which the inventor warned was not reliable as a medical diagnostic tool. Funny how the inventor died suddenly a few days after he made that disclaimer.

The purpose of this deliberate falsehood despite all professional objections to it was meant to ramp up fear to pave way for the masses to queue up for a vaccine they had already at hand.

As for the vaccine, it never went through any rigourous clinical trials to ascertain both its safety and efficacy. The manufactures also secured an indemnity from any adverse reaction or fatality from their products and went even further to secure a court ruling blocking an FOI request not to release both the contents of their vaccine, it's safety and efficacy. The judge granted both Big Pharma and surprisingly the US FDA who joined the suit against the FOI a 75yr interim before releasing all data concerning the so-called vaccine. As for the FDA and NAID under Faucci , they even redefined what a vaccine was, stating that for the vaccine to work everyone must take it. When those who took the vaccine fell seriously ill to same Covid, they said the vaccine does not confer immunity and they then began blaming the unvaxxed for the new more "deadly strain" which by the way was confined to those who took the vaxx. It didn't stop there, when young healthy adults who took the vaxx were dropping dead like flies, they came out and said it was a strange illness which they termed Sudden Adult Death Syndrome aka SADS and attributed it to climate change anxiety .

All these went on because there were mor0ns who were ready to swallow every narrative the authority dished out.

Now that we all know the vaxx did not work and that it is responsible for excess deaths , a cancer epidemic, infertility in otherwise healthy young adults and even saw to an increase in heart failures in babies and toddlers for those unfortunate to have foolish parents vaxx their own, we began to see them walk back as if nothing happened. They are even denying that they forced anyone to take the vaxx and that there were no lockdowns even though anyone alive back then knew this is a blatant lie.

Hypernormalization like the Covid hysteria propaganda and vaxx push can only occur when the masses out of fear, herd mentality or pyschopancy to the state swallow every lie told them by the government.

In the case of both IPOB and Obidient , the mob mentality is what fuels their loyalty to their movements.
