Since my childhood, I have been a very generous boy. I could give my last penny or food to people asking me. At that age, I wasn't bothered about checking who had and was lying not to have. I always felt, maybe instinctively to give.

Even at my primary school I was like that. Well, one day, a boy asked me to borrow him my pen because he didn't know where his was. Without hesitation I gave him. Some minutes later, I saw him with his pen and he was writing still writing with mine. I asked him why he didn't return mine because I only had 1pen? He looked at me with a grin.

Now that I'm grown, I never changed and find it very hard to turn people down. People come with all sorts of requests. The more I help, the more people turn to me for help. Why do people find me easy to approach even though I have my own life problems I am unable to solve?

I had told someone about this my encounter. In his words he said "when people come to you, ask them what will you get in return for helping them?". It sounds strange to me and so I couldn't execute such in any conversation.

People see me and assume I'm rich or I have it all.
Some see me posting on my WhatsApp and think I'm some rich dude. These are pictures that doesn't even have anything to do with flamboyance. Why do so many people come to me for all kinds of help?

I must admit, as difficult as things might seem most times, I'm able to get some help I never would have thought I could get.
Sometimes some very difficult circumstances or situations I encounter always end up in a less problematic way.

I am unable to connect my kindness and getting out of problems or finding favour to me helping several people. I just feel that's what a logical human ought to do. Or perhaps maybe that's just how my family is.

But then again I feel like since I help alot of people in several ways (I wish I could do more) I ought to have life easy and convinient without some problems. Well the point of helping people is just helping people and not expecting a reward per say, at least that's my own conviction.

Try to check out being a people please and see if that fits you.


You seem to be more concerned about why people come to you to ask for help.
You're not the only person they come to I can assure you that. So don't think you are a SOLE SAVIOUR.

If people do not ask you for help, would you typically be the person to offer help even if ppl do not ask
