SOWORE DROPS A BOMBSHELL: TINUBU HATES IGBOS, PETER OBI, NNAMDI KANU, LANDMARK OWNER OTHERS INCLUDED So, there's this interview of Omoyele Sowore on Voice of the People's platform that I came across. In that exclusive interview, he speaks about Peter Obi's attack by the APC, why Igbos are hated in Nigeria, why Nnamdi Kanu is held perpetually while Boko Haram terrorists are rehabilitated and given amnesty. He also sheds more light on the real truth behind the demolition of Landmark Beach. He talks about the Oba of Lagos' comment against Igbos, stating that if they don't vote for Ambode, they should be thrown into the lagoon, among other things. Threatening to throw people into a lagoon for not voting for your chosen candidate was really inappropriate. It shows genuine hatred toward another ethnicity. The demolition of Landmark Resort in Lekki, Lagos, without any form of compensation and then not using that route for the proposed Lagos-to-Calabar coastal highway is totally wrong! Yes, I heard there are submarine cables along that coastline, leading to a diversion to avoid disrupting internet connectivity. But why destroy someone's business—a business that contributes billions to Lagos State's tourism sector—why? Was it demolished, as Sowore suggested, due to anti-Igbo sentiment? It is not about hating Igbos, it is all a strategy to cause disunity so as not to be held accountable. It gives them a leeway to explain or justify thier failures. On almost every social platform I follow, when the incompetence of bat comes up, 85% of the people agree that BAT is a failure, regardless of tribe/ethnicity. But sooner than later, someone would throw in a tribal jab and insult Igbos, and the thread would scatter. Nigerians being the ethnic blockheads they are, the discussion immediately shifts from governance issues to tribal brickbats, and everyone takes sides based on tribe. Case closed and the goal is achieved. Most times, the agents that cause the distraction might not make more than 2 or 3 comments. Once the tribal attacks heat up, they stop commenting because the goal has been achieved. 2 Likes |
