Failure is a few errors in judgment repeated over a period of time and success is a few disciplines done consistently over a period of time.

If you hold a candle and you put your finger into the fire then remove it immediately, you won't feel anything. But when you leave it longer then you know the hell of pain to expect.

Similarly, when you eat unhealthy food for a month, the effect won't be really obvious. However, when you continue for another 6 months to a year then the health complications will begin to occur.

When it now boils down to your exam failure. All you need to do

-is to start late preparation.
-Study preferentially; being naturally biased about a course or topic
-Study selected topics forgetting that the topics are intertwined
-Don't study early
-Don't study by understanding the concept and application
-study once per week instead of studying daily
-spend an average time of 6 hours on social media but find it difficult to read for 1 hour
-Waiting for the perfect time to study
-cramming instead of understanding
-solving past questions without understanding the topic.
-etc
