I used the 05 SE Maxima for solid 7 years as my regular work horse and never disappointed. Toyota is no match with nissan when it comes to engineering and styling. Reasons why naija mechanic will tell you to go for Toyota is just of the bland and basis nature of toyota cars. I am getting the 016 maxima. Just too lovely.

For the case Murano that came with CVT transmission, still naija mechanics plagued that innocent ride by ignorantly servicing the transmission with regular transmission oil instead of the CVT oil the manufacturer recommended.

I have driven Nissan Xterra 2002 and Nissan Xterra 2006 models, I love both infact I actually bought the 2006 version because of how much I loved the 2002 version.

My friend dad had the previous model, he enjoyed it till he had accident B4 buying the 2005 model from the pit of hell😥. Have you removed your 2006 engine thermostat?

This how you know these guys have no clue, Dodge that starts from 3 ltr Engines ahaha, aint they thesame as the Jeep Engines lol

Even if Dodge may share similar engine with Jeep, doesn't mean overall reliability will be at par as there are other components that are very much different in application and their performance is very much expected to produce different results.

I cannot fathom why your mechanic would say that. This car is the epitome of resilience..I have put it through its paces, hauling heavy loads and handling it with little restraint, yet it remains steadfast. Its balance and handling are impeccable, offering a driving experience that rivals the best. Moreover, its parts are surprisingly affordable compared to Toyota’s. And let’s not forget the sound system is nothing short of phenomenal.

Super stable on road.

Older models are very good and reliable. Anything from 2012 na nonsense. Unless you are going for a S class or ML and other premium products. GLK, CLA, GLE all na trash.
