*THE KAABA*

The Kaaba, also known as the House of Allah, is a sacred building in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, considered the holiest site in Islam. The Kaaba is a cube-shaped structure made of granite and marble, approximately 12 meters (39 feet) tall.

Interior of the Kaaba
The interior of the Kaaba is simple and unadorned, with a few notable features:

1. *The Wall of the Kaaba*: The interior walls are made of marble and granite.
2. *The Door of the Kaaba*: A silver door, approximately 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall, made of silver and gold.
3. *The Key of the Kaaba*: Kept by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the key is used to open the door.
4. *The Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad)*: A sacred stone, approximately 30 cm (12 inches) in diameter, embedded in the southeastern corner of the Kaaba.
5. *The Station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim)*: A glass and gold enclosure containing a stone bearing the footprint of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham).
6. *The Well of Zamzam*: A sacred well, approximately 20 meters (66 feet) deep, located beneath the Kaaba.

Restrictions and Etiquette
Due to its sacred nature, access to the Kaaba is restricted:

1. *Only Muslims are allowed*: Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the Kaaba.
2. *Pilgrims and visitors*: Only authorized personnel, pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah, and special guests are allowed to enter.
