I recently encountered a hilarious yet painful scam from a group posing as an IT company. They promised an attractive monthly salary of up to 2.8 million Naira and assigned me a role to modify and add custom features to WHMCS, work on Hosting WHM/cPanel, and configure both IPv4 and IPv6.

I put in a lot of effort, even going as far as making UI changes. But in the end, they blatantly admitted they were scammers—an incredibly frustrating experience.

Fortunately, I had been suspicious of their actions from the start. So, I deliberately created hidden loopholes in their system just in case they tried anything shady. When they finally revealed their true intentions, I was able to shut down their server and wreak havoc on their setup.

They had claimed to be based in Oman and Riyadh, offering a salary of 4,500 Riyals—but it was all just an elaborate scam.|

Who else had the experience?
