Obi has never ever contested for any party nomination ticket in his political career.

Ojukwu handed the APGA Gubernatorial ticket for the Anambra state elections to Obi on the vow that Obi will never leave APGA.


At no time has Obi ever subjected himself to internal party politics.

When Obi found out that the PDP wasn't going to zone their ticket, Obi packed up and left to LP were he got the ticket free of charge

Now that Abure has vowed to throw the contest wide open , Obi is now jittery and trying to remove Abure and have him replaced with someone who will give him automatic ticket.

My question is why is Obi afraid to contest for the ticket of a party he claims to be a leader of and the most popular politician there?

The truth is that SW and northern party members of the LP will not support Obi getting their party ticket .
